I am passionate about making accessible the vast set of tools, concepts and frameworks from expressive arts therapy, somatic psychology, trauma work, and mindfulness to enable integration and individuation. These are tools I have learnt over a decade, as a seeker, an arts practitioner, facilitator and therapist.
I have conducted over 2800 hours of personal therapy, including 1200+ hours of group work with over 35 groups, under professional supervision, and have over 10 years of experience in facilitation and experiential learning. I have trained under several impactful teachers and trainers (see below) and continue to be in training.
I have personally applied these tools towards understanding and healing my own pain, learning to be more compassionate towards myself, and deepening self-awareness, presence and connection.
In my practice, I integrate expressive arts therapy with talk and body-based approaches. I offer individual and group therapy sessions, online and in-person in Bangalore, India, and primarily with adults and older adolescents navigating trauma, identity, and emotional overwhelm.
I work with LGBTQIA+ individuals, clients from marginalized caste and class backgrounds, individuals with neurodivergence, and those with plural identities. I hold a social justice stance that is neuro-affirmative, body-positive, and sex-positive.
Each time I enter my body and listen to it, when I share my joys and pain in paint, when I move to release and restore, or write to imagine and integrate: parts and layers in me move and heal. I am called to show you some of the ways I have found.
